TSR #000: on the state of the recruitment business

Recruitment is a highly protected industry.

Similar to healthcare and education, it is an irreplaceable need in good and bad times. The industry is evergreen. This means it will never fizzle out or be replaced by AI.

AI or other futuristic tech will enhance it no doubt, but they can never take the place of a human in the field of recruitment.

This is because humans no matter how technologically advanced we are, will never never enjoy talking to a robot regardless how “life-like” or “smart” it can be.

We are social and for that, non-animate objects will never satisfy our need for real conversations.

Welcome to my first edition.

I have just given you a very good reason why it is practically risk-free to launch your business in recruitment because the demand for your recruitment service will always be there. You may change your tech stack to improve your recruiting efficiency, but the final decision in recruiting is still going to be H2H (human to human).
